Tie un-dye project
I had a couple shirts that needed some revamping.
For the tying, I folded the shirts like an accordian, from the bottom up. Then I added rubber bands and used a 50-50 ratio of bleach and water. I applied the mix with a little bottle (like what hair dye comes in).
You don't have to leave the bleach on very long, 10-15 minutes will do it. And you'll want to keep on eye on the garment as the bleach can eat through the fabric, especially if you use less water in your mixture.
